I am writing on behalf of The International Society for Plant Pathology (ISPP) to extend our deepest sympathies for the losses you and your plant pathology colleagues have sustained from the devastating earthquakes. The images and stories on the news are heart-breaking!
We realize that the situation is still emerging, and that you likely do not know the status of your society members. However, please know that the ISPP Executive Committee is working with our member societies to figure out a way that we can help affected plant pathologists. As you learn more about emerging needs, please keep me appraised. I will also be in touch soon with more information from our side.
